Ashok Wadhwa

Ashok Wadhwa is the Group Chief Executive Officer at Ambit Group and also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Ambit Finvest Private Limited. He established Ambit in 1997, growing it into a top full-service investment bank in India.   Before Ambit, Ashok co-founded RSM & Co., a tax advisory business that he developed into a well-regarded Indian consulting firm. RSM merged with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2007 after a decade of operation. Known as a sharp investment banker, Ashok has managed different types of deals in many areas and locations.   He has received awards such as the Priyadarshini Academy Award for his work in financial management. Before starting Ambit, Ashok was a Managing Partner at Arthur Andersen in Mumbai. He is involved in industry groups and was previously President of the Bombay Chambers of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), as well as a managing committee member of both the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Ashok is a Chartered Accountant and holds a law degree from the University of Mumbai.
