Sonam Srivastava

Sonam Srivastava is the founder of Wright Research, a SEBI-registered robo-advisor based in India. Srivastava, an IIT graduate, founded the firm with her expertise in quant finance, which uses scientific, data-driven methods to manage assets worth over 250 crore INR and serve over 40,000 clients. The firm's strategy has resulted in a 90%+ outperformance over the index over the last three years, making it popular with millennial investors. Prior to founding Wright Research, Srivastava developed high-frequency trading algorithms at HSBC and Edelweiss, as well as portfolio management at Qplum, an AI-powered Robo-advisor. After a US-based advisory firm canceled plans to launch in India, she began offering research-backed model stock portfolios to investors, which became popular during the COVID-19 pandemic. Srivastava is a globally recognized expert in investment research and portfolio management, having worked for over a decade. In addition to running Wright Research, she is a visiting faculty member at the AI in Finance Institute New York and the BSE Institute Limited. Her educational background includes a master's degree in financial engineering from Worldquant University.
