Sunish Sharma

Sunish Sharma is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Kedaara Capital. He has over 28 years of experience in all parts of the private equity process, focusing on India’s financial services, consumer, business services, healthcare, tech, and industrial sectors. Before starting Kedaara with his partners, Sunish was a Managing Director at General Atlantic. As one of the first team members in India, he was key in building its local investment program, which grew to over $1 billion in invested capital. He also consulted at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on strategy and M&A. Sunish holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, where he earned a gold medal, and a bachelor’s degree in commerce and cost accounting. He has served on many corporate boards and is involved in philanthropic work focused on education, including co-founding Ashoka University and the Young India Fellowship.
