Surya Mantha

With over 25 years of experience in leadership and investing, Surya Mantha has a deep pedigree in scaling digital and consumer businesses. Before joining Capria (and its predecessor Unitus Ventures), he held executive roles at Sify, RealNetworks, and Omidyar Network India Advisors, where he led investments in e-commerce and edtech that later became unicorns. He also served as the CEO of Web18 and Saregama, overseeing the growth of massive digital news portals like moneycontrol.com. An IIT Kanpur alumnus with a PhD from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Rochester, Surya focuses on identifying founders who use technology to disrupt traditional sectors.
