Vinod Jayaram

Vinod Jayaram oversees the Composite Emerging Stars Fund. He possesses more than 15 years of experience in capital markets, primarily focusing on investments in publicly listed Indian small- and mid-cap firms, and has held positions at several buy-side firms, including one of the largest asset management companies.   He was connected to a top-performing boutique small- and mid-cap fund in which a family member of a Berkshire Hathaway board member had invested. Throughout his career, he has encountered hundreds of company executives and takes pride in having identified some of the now-established firms at their inception (Emerging Stars).   At Composite PMS, he adheres to a ‘flywheel’ investment strategy. He is searching for firms that are consistently making gradual progress in the right direction, which in turn creates a self-reinforcing effect, gaining momentum and generating increasingly positive outcomes, akin to a flywheel.   Vinod graduated from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Sri Satya Sai University. He is interested in running, crossfit, vipassana, and reading.
