Abhishek Prasad

Founder, Managing Partner

Abhishek is a Managing Partner at Cornerstone Ventures, an Indian fund that invests in B2B tech for consumer, enterprise, and SME businesses. He built a successful SaaS portfolio with 20 investments from Fund-I ($50M) and is now building Fund-II ($150M), focusing on next-gen enterprise tech. He won the 40-Under-40 AIF Professionals Award in 2020. With 23 years of experience, Abhishek has a background in investment, portfolio, and financial management. Before Cornerstone, he led investments at Reliance’s GenNext Ventures Fund ($250M), investing in emerging technologies. He also has strategy and operations experience in consumer goods and industrial products. Abhishek has worked with startups in India, Israel, and the US and has served on several boards. He has advised large organizations on investment strategies and led M&A teams. He mentored startups at Jio GenNext and NASSCOM programs and makes angel investments. He has aided global MNCs in entering markets like India and China from his time at IBM, Accenture, and Boston Analytics. He also worked in brand management at Unilever and as a tech consultant at Infosys. Earlier in his career, Abhishek founded a venture that grew to over Rs 150 Cr annually with 300+ staff in under three years. As CEO, he built it from the ground up and led it to a successful exit. Abhishek holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and a degree in electronics engineering.
