Mr. Debasis Dasgupta

An experienced debt market expert, he offers more than 35 years of in-depth experience in forex and fixed-income trading. He started his career as a Forex Dealer and subsequently moved to the Wholesale Debt Market, acquiring extensive knowledge in trading, market operations, and risk management.

He held a crucial leadership position at Karvy Capital Ltd., acting as the Head of the Dealing Desk and leading Proprietary Trading in the Debt Market since the company’s founding. He played a key role in advancing the debt business within the Karvy Group.

He possesses a Bachelor of Science degree and a Law degree from the University of Kolkata.
