Accuracap (officially Accuracap Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd.) is a boutique, technology-driven asset management firm based in India that specializes in quantitative equity investment strategies.
Founded in 2009 by veteran computer scientists Dr. Naresh Gupta and Raman Nagpal, the firm originally served as a family office to manage proprietary wealth using custom algorithms. It transitioned into managing third-party funds for high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and institutional investors in 2011.
Investment Philosophy
AccuraCap’s investment approach is built on the belief that data-driven objectivity outperforms human intuition in the long run. Their philosophy centers on three core pillars:
- Quantitative Rigor: Every investment decision is derived from mathematical models that process vast amounts of historical and real-time financial data, ensuring a disciplined and repeatable process.
- Scientific Selection: Instead of "stock picking" in the traditional sense, they use a ranking system to identify the highest-quality businesses relative to their peers, focusing on companies with superior capital efficiency and earnings quality.
- Conflict-Free Alignment: The firm operates on a performance-first model, often avoiding fixed management fees in favor of sharing only the "Alpha" (returns generated above the benchmark). This ensures their success is strictly tied to the investor's profit.

Dr. Naresh Gupta
A Corporate Executive, Computer Scientist, and a prolific Researcher, Naresh is a Gold medalist from IIT-Kanpur and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. Before pursuing investing fulltime, Naresh was the founder and Managing Director of Adobe India from 1997 till March 2015. He conceived and grew Adobe's presence in India to 3500+ engineers over 18 years. Under his leadership, 40% of Adobe's core research and development was done at the Indian campus and several hundred global patents filed from campus. As part of Adobe's global executive team, he was running one of the three global businesses in Adobe's $8 Billion portfolios. Naresh is a prolific researcher and inventor. He is the author of several widely referred and seminal scientific papers in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, and Computer Vision. He holds seven Individual U.S. Patents.
