Itus is a mortal who has great admiration for Apollo, according to Greek mythology (son of the King of the Gods, Zeus). Itus was thought to be the most modest mortal on the planet. He was known for being a wonderful singer, a man who never lied, a man who loved archery and was unrivalled with his two swords.The Gods were envious of Itus’ admiration for Apollo, and jealousy developed among them. As a result of Apollo’s concern for his life, he sought out Itus to defend himself. He awed the Gods when he vanquished Ares in a sword duel, despite swearing to safeguard Apollo’s life. Apollo intended to make Itus a God as he got older and wiser, and Zeus readily consented. Itus is still alive today is revered as the Protector God. This fiduciary obligation of protection, we feel, is a symbol of our path toward shareholder and investor riches.
