ITUS Capital Fundamental Value Fund focuses on generating an alpha of 5-8 per cent over the index. Their key focus lies in growth-oriented industries.
The companies that enter the growth portfolio bucket have the following features:
- FCF growth of more than 10 per cent over the last five years. The EBIT margin should be increasing.
- Smooth sailing through business cycles
- ROC should be preferably greater than 20% (ROA measure for banks)
- Higher return profile for companies having less than 10,000 market cap
- For small-cap companies, estimated returns should compensate for the loss of liquidity.
